| Carling Family 2000- During this period half of the family (Max, Gerd, and Gunhild) moved to to Malmo and Lund in southern Sweden, where they took active part in musical life in this region. Gunhild attracted attention as a jazz musician and vaudeville artist, and she performed at national TV and radio. |

She is the organizer of a yearly Christmas variety show at Lund City Theater, as well as a festival at Stockmollan outside Lund, where she now lives. Max is busy as a variety and vaudeville artist, and is the head of the Swedish National Circus M useum. Together with other musicians from Malmo the Carling Family formed a larger band, Carling Big Band. They performed in the national TV program "Nyhetsmorgon" (TV4) in 2005 and have attracted much attention from festivals and audience in 2006 and 2007. |
